Haruki Murakami gives readers further advice on writing, adultery and cats

Haruki Murakami gives readers further advice on writing, adultery and cats | Books | The Guardian.

Okay, do you agree with this: “Writing is like ‘chatting up a woman’, Japan’s superstar novelist Haruki Murakami has said: ‘You can get better with practice to a certain degree, but basically, you’re either born with it, or you’re not.’”

Also in the News

“Five years ago, Alex Malarkey wrote the bestselling memoir The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven after he was injured in a car crash, in which he stated he had gone to heaven. Malarkey recently admitted he made up the story of going to heaven to ‘get attention.’ Christian publisher Tyndale House will take the book out of print.” – NPR

Malarkey, well, the name says it all.
